Job description

Participer à la préparation d'appels d'offres, d'études et de projets concernant la gestion des déchets radioactifs et le déclassement :

  • Appliquer votre expertise approfondie sur les systèmes de traitement et de conditionnement des déchets solides et des effluents liquides et gazeux ;
  • Spécifier des systèmes et/ou des équipements qui répondent aux exigences des clients ;
  • Être le contact avec les fournisseurs d'équipements ;
  • Établir les plans d'implantation des équipements avec les concepteurs et les dessinateurs ;
  • Assurer le suivi des entrepreneurs pendant la phase de mise en service du site ;
  • Utiliser des codes informatiques développés pour l'évaluation des coûts de déclassement ;
  • Développer des études de sensibilité avec ces codes, notamment en ce qui concerne la gestion des déchets radioactifs. les techniques et stratégies de gestion des déchets radioactifs mises en œuvre et leur impact sur la planification et les coûts 
    du déclassement. 

Desired profile

  • Master degree in engineering with a strong will to develop your technical expertise.
  • Experience in the nuclear industry and particularly in Radioactive Waste Management and/or decommissioning is required. For this position, at least 4 years of relevant experience in the aforementioned areas of expertise is required.
  • Mother tongue is Dutch or French and be fluent in English.
  • Able to draw up reports in Dutch or French and English.
  • Familiar with the MS-Office software suite, Visual Basic and Access.
  • Autonomous and like teamwork.
  • Available and open to gain new competencies as well as to share them. Willing to provide guidance to less experienced people in the team.
